  • The Pefferlaw Arts and Craft Club is hosting a Christmas Bazaar on Sat. Nov. 10 at 9:00 am at the Pefferlaw Lions Hall. Donation to food bank and animal shelter.
  • The Town of Georgina is hosting budget chats at the Sutton Library on Sat. Nov. 10 at 1:00 pm and at the Pefferlaw Library on Sun. Nov. 18 at 1:00 pm.
  • On Nov. 12 the Georgina-Brock Garden Club will host its annual Photographic Competition at 7:30 pm at the Wilfrid Hall.
  • South Lake Simcoe Naturalists invite you to their Annual Autumn Event at Egypt Hall at 7:30 pm on Nov. 13.
  • There is still time to register for the Keswick Optimist Club Toy and Gift Drive. Register at the Food Pantry on Thursdays Nov. 15 and 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm or Fridays Nov 16 and 23 from 9:00 am to noon.
  • Cedardale Church in Pefferlaw invites you to participate in the live outdoor nativity pageant known as the Walk to Bethlehem on Fri. Nov. 16 at 6:30 pm and Sat. Nov. 17 at 6:00 pm. It is all free and wonderfully done.
  • Don’t miss the Keswick Santa Claus parade at 1:30 pm on Sat. Nov. 17. Starts at Biscayne. Always a great time for everyone.
  • Club 55 in Keswick is hosting a Rod Stewart Tribute Dinner Show on Sat. Nov. 17. Dinner at 7:00 and show follows. $20 for members—$25 for non-members. .
  • Attend the Painters’ Circle at the Pefferlaw Library on Sun. Nov. 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. $10 all materials supplied.
  • The Festival of Lights and Old Fashioned Christmas celebrations will take place at the Georgina Pioneer Village on Sat. Nov. 24 from 5:15 to 8:00 pm.
  • The Uptown Keswick BIA will host its Annual Tree Lighting on Sat. Nov. 24 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.

  • The Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home will host its Annual Christmas Memorial Service on Mon. Nov. 26 at 7:30 m. Refreshments and fellowship follow.
  • Old Saint Nicholas will make his annual appearance at the Sutton Santa Claus parade on Sat. Dec. 1. This lighting extravaganza begins in Jackson’s Point at 5:00 pm and will travel down Dalton Rd. and High St. to the fair grounds.
  • The Jackson’s Point BIA will host a Tree and Menorah Lighting ceremony at the parkette at 6:30 pm on Sat. Dec. 1.
  • Take in the Georgina All Star Christmas Concert at the Stephen Leacock Centre on Sat. Dec. 1 at 8:00 pm. Tickets $15. Great local line-up. Tickets at Tix Hub.
  • A Christmas Craft Workshop will be held at Trinity United Church in Cannington on Sat. Dec. 1 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
  • The Pefferlaw Lions will host their free Annual Children’s Christmas Party on Sun. Dec. 2 from noon until 3:00 pm. Games, refreshments and loads of fun. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, too, with gifts for everyone.

  • The Pefferlaw Association of Ratepayers will host their Annual Tree Lighting celebration at Cedardale Church on Sun. Dec. 2 at 6:00 pm. (Note: Due to construction of the fire hall the venue has been changed.)
